Just like Fritz-Kempf I also have a small collection of military items. My finest item is a German "Pickelhaube" dated 1901 and JR141 1B (Infantrieregiment 141 1ste Division).

I will try to upload some more pics (when I've got time).

You've got most of the bayonets right:

Above to below:

1892 Berthier 1st model with original frog
1866 Chassepot; made in 1868 but after the German-French war of 1870/71 captured and used by the Germans
1874 Gras (matching numbers, very good condition)
1886 Lebel 1st model (with the early bladefix) and (of course) a quillion (matching numbers)
1886 Lebel 2nd model (white metal hilt and later bladefix) and with quillion removed

German SG98 n.A. (no regiment marks, so a private purchase)
German SG98/05 n.A. with frog
German SG98/05 n.A. without flash guard (marked W15; so a transitional model)

Brittish P1907 bayonet marked Wilkinson (for the Mark I Lee Enfield rifle)

Thanx guys. It's only a small collection; but my focus was the more commonly awarded medails of Germany (WW1 and WW2). Next step is maybe the allied counterparts of these...

@ Fritz; saw the Belgian M1916 but only half on your pics. Could you post a picture of the whole bayo? By which manufactor was this made?

I have not found any marks of manufature. This bajonet is the 2nd version and it used at the Mauser M1935 and M1936. These bajonets have not always markings.

The Belgian army used this bayonet for quite some time (M1916 will be the manufacture-date of the 1st model I suppose?)?

1916 is the year that saw the first time service.

Speaking as a history buff, your collection is amazing!

May I ask about your katana? Is it standard Japanese officer issue? Any idea on its backstory?
