Worth buying? I'm a a fan of ArmA 2 and mods like ACE for it. I was considering buying it but I heard so much negative feedback about this game. I'm all up for MP but is it really that bad? Seen reviews and it was cool and such though Smile

I had to actually completely re isntall the steam version, But no biggie Im up and running. For Dutch, YES this game feels like what arma should have been. Due to the slower nature of the game, and the slower nature of WWII assetts they are a Perfect fit, very tactical gameplay for all vehicles and infantry. I am a VERY happy customer. And like you, I was on the fence. Im glad I got it, its worth the thirty.

With this new patch I'd definitely say it's worth buying. I played a match last night, and I don't think anyone crashed (before quite a few guys would crash). They have just added in the SVT and G43 as well as sorting out the Flare Pistol.

I've been playing it whenever I can really since release, quite possibly the longest I've ever really stuck with one game. I've played arma, and enjoyed it, but haven't played ACE so can't compare. I would say that it feels more fluid than Arma, I also prefer the map and the theme.

There is the Forgotten Honor PvP campaign, and there is possible plans for a CooP one as well, so there is a lot of Multiplayer to be had. I've got a few videos from the campaign (all raw sorry) that should give you an idea of what the game is like. http://www.youtube.com/user/TheMrFudge/videos

We will be playing tonight (as well as any other Sunday) so if you get it you can join us in the Campaign.

For me it was easily worth the asking price, and a lot more.
