As we are nearing the end of this year we would like to take this time to already wish all of our members Happy Holidays and a great New Year.

In 2012 a lot has happened over at Forgotten Honor. We've been striving to continuously improve our community and to provide the best experience to our fellow members. While there have been various ups and downs we nonetheless came stronger out of it than we've ever been before and we are ready for another year of gaming with more events, improvements and many other things that are in the planning. And of course nothing would be possible without you. We are happy with such a massive thriving community behind our back and we hope to see all of you back in 2013!

Dawnguard DLC for the Elder Scrolls V Skyrim was released last week. If the user created addons are not counted then this is the first official DLC released for the Skyrim.

DLC brings new weapons like crossbows, armor, spells and shouts it also adds possibility to join the Dawnguard

Hall of Fame is the highest award in Forgotten Honor to recognise outstanding contributions to the platform for a long period of time. Three users have received the award for their countless dedication in making this a better place.

We are sustained on true gamers who believe Forgotten Honor can make online gaming better and spend their time in making it possible. We do appreciate any small and single contribution, but some users spend huge amounts of time during many months and this is a modest way to express our deepest gratitude.

Valve has announced Steam Greenlight a platform for Indie games developers

Valve wants to make it easier for Indie developers to get their games on Steam Store and they want to do it together with community. Gamers will get to rate games and best ones will be chosen for Steam Store

OUYA (Pronounced Ohhh - Yah) was announced today via kickstarter and it has recieved staggering support so far with half of the required funding recieved already! OUYA is a completely new way of looking at console gaming and is built around the free to play model for the gaming business. Every game on OUYA will be free to play, at least in part and the software and hardware will be completely open source.

Electronic Arts is one of the publishers in this industry that is at the forefront of the digital transition. The company recently had its first year of digital revenues over one billion dollars, and now EA is expecting that number to jump closer to $2 billion (guidance of $1.7 billion in digital revenues this year). For EA Labels boss Frank Gibeau, the business is clearly at a tipping point. He told GamesIndustry International recently that EA clearly will be 100 percent digital in the near future.

I'm sure that most of you are aware that E3 is one of the most anticipated entertainment expo's of the year as it provides the staging ground for developers to show off their newest creations and technologies. Whilst Halo 4, Tomb Raider and Black Ops 2 may have stolen the lime light at this years show there isn't really a place for them in our growing list of campaigns. However, you can't help but wonder if somewhere in that vast list of games there'll be a brand new game suited to our community.

Part 3 of Forgotten Honor version 4 brings new features that will make accessibility and navigation easier. Games area is now fully functional with an user-friendly signup process.

In addition new features such as My Groups and recent Activity have been enabled to all users. Now you can access easier the areas of the groups you belong to and play with. In the other hand the activity will warn your newest awards and promotions received.

We have brought to live the second part of V4 for Forgotten Honor. A couple weeks ago we introduced many changes in the tournament interface and slightly improved the forum layout.

During the past 2 weeks some of you might have noticed some small adjustments already to the website lay-out we have been using. Beside that, some small hints were already spread over our forums, but today it will be entirely clear to all of you.
